FRESH GREEN BEANS WITH MUSHROOMS AND RICE ENJOY DAN:

     FRESH GREEN BEANS WITH MUSHROOM AND RICE by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound Tender Fresh Beans (Tender Haricot Verts)
1 cup Jasmine rice
2 tablespoon s butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
7 baby portabella mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon EACH thyme and lemon pepper
Sea salt & Seasoned Pepper Medley to taste
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Parmigiano- Reggiano cheese
1/4-cup fresh snipped chives

DIRECTIONS:
1.   Cook rice according to package directions.
2.   Steam beans over boiling water until crispy tender, 3 minutes.
3.   Remove from steamer and plunge into an ice bath.
4.   Dry and pat dry.
5.   In a wok heat butter and oil over medium-high heat when sizzling.
6.   Add onion and mushrooms and sauté for 4 minutes.
7.   Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
8.   Add spices and season with salt & pepper to taste.
9.   Stir in sour cream, cheese, and green beans.
10.                Mix to coat all ingredients.
11.                Top with fresh chives.
