BAKED
ZITI RIGATI WITH GROUND TURKEY AND 3 CHEESES by CHEF DAN:

INGREDIENTS:
8
ounces dry ziti rigati pasta
1
onion, chopped
8
ounces ground turkey meat
1(30
Oz) Marinara sauce
1/4-cup
Pecorino Romano cheese
3/4-cup
sour cream
1/4-cup
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1
tablespoon Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
(PRE-OVEN TO 350
DEGREES)
1.
Bring
a pot of salted water to a boil.
2.
Add
ziti rigati and cook until el dente, 8 minutes: drain.
3.
In
a skillet over medium-heat, brown the onions and ground turkey.
4.
Sauté
for 5 minutes.
5.
Add
marinara sauce and reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
6.
In
a 9-X-13 baking dish sprayed with Pam.
LAYER AS FOLLOWS:
1.
1/2
the ziti.
2.
The
Pecorino Romano
3.
The
sour cream
4.
1/2-the
Marinara sauce.
5.
Remaining
ziti.
6.
The
Mozzarella cheese.
7.
And
the remaining sauce mixture.
8.
Top
with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake
for 30 minutes or until all chesses have melted
