TRIPLE
BERRY COBBLER FOR THE LADIES AT THE SOUP KITCHEN

INGREDIENTS:
1
1/2-cups frozen blackberries, unthawed
1
1/2-cups frozen raspberries, unthawed
1
1/2-cup frozen blueberries, unthawed
1/4-cup
white sugar
2
cups all-purpose flour
2
cups rolled oats
1
1/2- cups brown sugar
1
teaspoon vanilla extract
1
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2-teaspoon
ground nutmeg
1
1/2-cups butter
DIRECTIONS: (PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES)
1.
In
a bowl, toss frozen berries, white sugar, and stir together gently.
2.
In
a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and
nutmeg.
3.
Cut
in butter until crumbly.
4.
Press
1/2- the mixture in the bottom of a 9X13 inch pan.
5.
Cover
with berries.
6.
In
a pre-heated oven bake for 55 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
