JALAPENO POPPERS WITH CRAB MEAT by

Serves

INGREDIENTS:
20-25
fresh jalapenos
2-(8
Oz) blocks of cream cheese
1-1/2-
shredded Mexican cheese
1/4-cup
Parmesan cheese
16-ounce
lump crab meat
1-teaspoon
lemon juice
1/2-teaspoon
EACH garlic powder & turmeric powder
1-teaspoons
Old Bay Seasoning
2-scallions,
bias sliced into 1/2-inch lengths
1/4-teaspoon
fresh ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Line
a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2.
Cut
peppers in half lengthwise & remove seeds & membrane.
3.
Place
peppers on lined baking sheet.
4.
Mix
remaining ingredients.
5.
Stuff
pepper’s with crab mixture.
6.
Grill
for about 20 minutes, until bubbly & browned.
7.
Let
cook for 5 minutes.
TO
BAKE: (PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 F)
1.
Place
baking sheet with stuffed jalapenos in the oven.
2.
Bake
for 20 minutes.
3.
Then
broil for 2-3 minutes.
