ROASTED KALE

Makes
8 cups
INGREDIENTS:
4
bunches curly kale, rinsed, ribs and stems removed, leaves torn into 1”-1-1/2-inches
pieces
6
garlic cloves thinly sliced
Sprinkle
of sugar, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
3
tablespoons sesame oil
2
tablespoons black and white sesame seeds
2
tablespoons water
DIRECTIONS:
(PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 F)
1.
Toss kale, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoon
olive oil into a bowl; toss to combine.
2.
Divide
between two prepared rimmed baking sheets.
3.
sprinkle
with water and then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
4.
Roast
for 20 minutes or until browned.
5.
Transfer
kale to a bowl and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
