BARBEQUE SAUCE by CHEF DAN:
Makes 3-cups
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup prepared yellow mustard
5 tablespoons brown sugar
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 onions, finely sliced
3/4-cup cider vinegar
1/4-cup water
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4-teaspoons cayenne sauce
1 teaspoons soy sauce
1 tablespoons liquid smoke
2 tablespoons butter
DIRECTIONS:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-heat.
2. Sauté garlic and onions until tender about 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Mix all ingredients except soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and smoke.
5. Return to low-simmer.
6. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
7. Stir in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and smoke and simmer for 10 minutes. ENJOY DAN: SAVOUR!
