CABBAGE IN SOUP BOWLS ENJOY DAN:


                  CABBAGE IN SOUP BOWLS by CHEF DAN:
Serves 4

INGREDIENTS:
1-pound lean ground beef, turkey chicken or lamb
2-garlic cloves, minced
1-small head cabbage, chopped
2-1/2-cups water
2/3-cup Jasmine rice
1-tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1-teaspoon EACH onion powder, dried basil, & lemon pepper
1/4-teaspoon EACH cayenne pepper, & black pepper
1-(28-Oz) can crushed tomatoes
1/2-teaspoon kosher salt
2-tablespoons Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:
1.   In a stock pot, cook meat & garlic over medium heat.
2.   When meat is no longer pink: drain.
3.   Stir in next 10 ingredients.
4.   Bring to a boil.
5.   Reduce heat, simmer, cover, until rice is tender, 25-30 minutes.
6.   Stir in tomatoes & salt, heat through.
7.   Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
