TRAEGAR GRILL DRY RUB
RIBS by CHEF DAN:
Serves
4-6 (FOR 4th OF JULY PARTY)
DRY
RUB:
1/4-cup
brown sugar
1-tablespoon
EACH smoked paprika, and jalapeno powder
1/2-tablespoon
red pepper flakes
1
tablespoon EACH cumin, garlic salt, and onion powder
1
teaspoon ground coriander
RIBS:
2
racks spare ribs
2
cups apple juice
1/4-cup
barbecue sauce
DIRECTIONS:
1.
Start
the Traeger according to grill instructions.
2.
Set
the temperature to 250 F and preheat with lid closed.
3.
Mix
all rub ingredients together, rub generously on all sides.
4.
Place
ribs on the grill and smoke for 2 hours.
5.
Remove
from grill and wrap in a double layer of foil.
6.
Pour
apple juice into the foil pack over the ribs.
7.
return
ribs to the grill and cook 2 hours more.
8.
Remove
from grill add barbeque sauce and cook 20 minutes longer.
