OVEN
FRIED CHICKEN WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE AND GARLIC by CHEF DAN:
Serves

INGREDIENTS:
1/3-cup
butter, melted
3
garlic cloves, minced
2
teaspoons Penzeys roasted garlic powder
1/2-teaspoon
Sweet Mesquite seasoning salt
3/4-cup
Panko
1/2-cup
cheddar cheese, grated
1/4-cup
Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2-teaspoon
ground b black pepper
4
boneless, skinless chicken breasts
DIRECTIONS: (PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES)
1.
Butter
an 11x 7-inch baking dish.
2.
In
a bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic, and I teaspoon roosted garlic
powder and seasoning salt.
3.
In
another bowl, combine Panko, 1/2-of grated cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese and
1 teaspoon garlic powder and black pepper.
4.
Dip
chicken in butter mixture, then in Panko.
5.
Place
in prepared baking dish and bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes.
6.
Top
with shredded cheddar cheese the last 5 minutes of baking.
