CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES FOR THE LADIES IN THE SOUP KITCHEN

INGREDIENTS:
6
tablespoons butter, room temperature
1/3-
cup brown sugar
1/2-
cup white sugar
1/2-smooth
peanut butter
1
egg
2
teaspoon vanilla extract
1
cup all-purpose flour
1/2-teaspoon
baking soda
1/2-
teaspoons sea salt
1
cup semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS: (pre-heat oven to 350 degrees)
1.
In
a bowl stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
2.
Set
aside.
3.
In
another bowl, whisk together the butter, peanut butter and sugars until smooth.
4.
Stir
in the vanilla extract.
5.
Add
egg and mix until combined.
6.
Stir
in dry ingredients.
7.
Form
dough.
8.
Press
dough into a 12-inch cast-iron skillet.
9.
Bake
for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
10.
Let
cool 5 minutes.
